Pick the plan that feels right. Most apply by phone, often with no medical exam, and I'm with you through approval and beyond.
Traditional life insurance can mean exams, blood work, and weeks of waiting. Simplified issue policies skip the exam and decide based on your answers to health questions and standard database checks.
Every family is different. Here are the main types of no-exam coverage I help people with.
Mortgage protectionKeep your family in the home you worked for.

Permanent protection with premiums that stay level and cash value that builds over time, approved from health questions rather than an exam.
For people whose health makes other options difficult. No health questions to qualify; benefits are typically limited in the first years of the policy.
Affordable protection for a set number of years, while kids are growing, a mortgage is being paid, or income needs replacing.
Life coverage sized to your home loan, so your family can stay in the home if something happens to you. Often written as no-exam term or whole life.
Permanent coverage with cash value growth potential tied to a market index, with downside protection. A good fit for some long-term planning goals.
You served our country, and getting coverage should be easy. I help veterans understand the differences between SGLI, VGLI and VMLI, and find life insurance options that fit their health, budget and family. Learn about VA coverage.
Plan for the retirement you want. I'll help you see how your coverage and savings work together, including options like cash value life insurance, so you can head into retirement with more confidence.
These are the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs life insurance programs. I'll help you understand how they differ, what you may already have, and whether private coverage could fill any gaps.
Low-cost group term life insurance for eligible service members, including active duty and qualifying Ready Reserve and National Guard members. Most are enrolled automatically, with coverage up to $500,000 in $50,000 steps. Coverage continues free for 120 days after leaving the military.
Lets you keep group term coverage after you leave the military, for as long as you pay premiums. You can convert from SGLI for $10,000 to $500,000 of coverage, up to the amount you had. Apply within 240 days of leaving service to skip the health review. Premiums are based on age and rise as you get older.
Mortgage protection for veterans with severe service-connected disabilities who received a Specially Adapted Housing grant. It pays up to $200,000 directly to the mortgage lender, decreases as the mortgage is paid down, and must be applied for before age 70.
SGLI, VGLI and VMLI are government programs administered by the VA, not products sold by Esoteric Financial Group. Details can change; see the VA life insurance site for current eligibility and rates.

It's life insurance you can qualify for by answering health questions instead of taking a medical exam. Carriers typically also check standard databases such as prescription history and the MIB.
Correct, simplified issue policies don't require a paramedical exam, blood, or urine samples. You answer health questions on the application, usually by phone.
Simplified issue decisions are generally much faster than fully underwritten policies, but timing varies by carrier and by your answers. I'll tell you what to expect for the options we're considering.
Sometimes slightly, because the carrier takes on more uncertainty without an exam. For many people the speed and convenience are worth it, and comparing multiple carriers helps keep costs down.
Many people with common conditions still qualify. Each carrier asks different questions, which is exactly why working with an independent advisor helps. If simplified issue isn't a fit, guaranteed issue options may be available.
Simplified issue asks health questions; guaranteed issue doesn't, but usually has a waiting (graded) period before the full death benefit is paid for natural causes.
No. My quotes and advice are free. Advisors are paid by the insurance company, and your premium is the same either way.
